Privacy

All information that you provide us with will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. Your contact details (that is, your address, e-mail address, telephone or fax number) will never be passed on to anyone else, at any time.

Security

This site offers a high level of security for your payment. Credit card processing is by HSBC. Your credit card details are not stored by us following your order.

(Note that, if you prefer, you can buy a book by post and pay with a cheque or postal order.)

Delivery

Your book will normally be posted to you within two days of receiving your order. If, in exceptional circumstances, despatch is going to take longer than this, we will let you know.

If you have not received your book within a week of placing your order (UK customers), please let us know by sending an e-mail.

For express delivery (book normally delivered to a UK address within 48 hours of placing your order) add £1 to your order at the checkout.

Delivery charges

Postage and packing is free, to all UK addresses, on books bought from this website.

For overseas orders, postage is charged as follows (per book):

Europe £2.50
Rest of the world £5.00

Payments

You can pay with Visa, MasterCard, Maestro or American Express.

You can also buy a book by post and pay with a cheque or postal order.

Payments for overseas orders

We can accept card payments from anywhere in the world.

Our prices are shown in £ sterling. If you are a customer outside the UK, you can select other currencies within the online store, but please note that these are for guidance only and that you will be charged the sterling price indicated at the point of payment.

Your credit card company will automatically convert the price from £ sterling to your own currency when the transaction goes through. Because the exchange rate changes all the time, the price you are actually charged by your credit card company may be slightly different from that shown on this website.

QHB Information Service

Buying a book direct from this website gives you lifelong access to the Quality Health Books Information Service.

Refunds

If you are a UK customer buying direct from this website, you have a statutory right to cancel your order. This cancellation must be made in writing, by letter, e-mail or fax, within seven days of receiving the book. Please return the book to us in good condition, and wrap it well to protect it in the post. Your money will be refunded to you within 30 days.

In addition to this statutory right, you are further protected by the unique Quality Health Books guarantee: if, after trying it for three months, you feel the book hasn’t given you any useful information, nor improved the health of yourself or a member of your family, then you just have to return it to us and we will refund the purchase price of the book without question.

Be sure to send us your full name and address when returning the book (and your address when you bought the book, if not the same), plus the date on which you bought it. You can apply for this refund any time between three months and six months after you purchased the book. (Your membership of the QHB Information Service would end at this point.)

This refund offer is available to both UK and overseas customers.
